BlueCat and SKW in long- term AdBlue Supply Deal

BlueCat AdBlue Solutions and Germany's SKW Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz GmbH today announce a long-term agreement that ensures security of AdBlue supply into the UK & Ireland market.
SKW Piesteritz, one of the big AdBlue manufacturers and largest German urea manufacturer make technical, fertilizer and specialty ammonia and urea products at their modern facility near Berlin for distribution throughout Europe. They are founding members of the CEFIC producers group, which defined the most demanding quality and distribution standards for AdBlue in Europe.

We are delighted that we have signed a deal with a CEFIC producer and this deal means that UK hauliers can have access to AdBlue can be guaranteed to meet the highest quality standards."

In the short term BlueCat AdBlue will be imported to the UK in ready-made liquid form from SKW but BlueCat Solutions intends to manufacture BlueCat from SKW's Automotive Grade Urea and plans are advanced to build a local facility on Teesside during 2007.
