Rix joins BlueCat Distributor Network

Hull based fuel distributor Rix Petroleum Ltd, today announces a strategic distribution partnership with BlueCat AdBlue Solutions.
The company with operations in Hull, Immingham, Montrose, Grangemouth and Attleborough in Norfolk will distribute BlueCat AdBlue solutions from its distribution bases in East Scotland and the large parts of the East Coast of England & The North.
"BlueCat, part of J & H Bunn Ltd and Rix have traded with each other for nearly forty years so a partnership in AdBlue was a natural extension of an existing business relationship" says Rix's Fuel & Lubricants manager, Duncan Lambert.
AdBlue complements our rapidly growing BioDiesel operation and our leading customers had started to ask us about it. We reviewed a number of suppliers and decided that BlueCat's strategy of specialising in the UK with British production, a full product range and market-leading dispensing technology gave us an opportunity to lead the market.

Duncan Lambert added 'We want our customers to know that Rix are ready for Euro4 and will have the full range of BlueCat AdBlue products, from 10 litre containers upwards, along with all the required dispensing equipment, available early in 2006 ready for the first trucks to be sold in the U.K.. We will also have a range of specialist AdBlue storage tanks available for larger fleet operators.'
